My name is C. Philip MUSIC and I'm from Youngstown, Ohio. I am a Instrumental Jazzy Funky Composer and Producer. 

I have been a Bass player since I was about 17 years old. Tried several different instruments from Organ, Piano, Acoustic guitar, and fell in love with the Electric Bass.

I began creating my own tracks at around the same timeframe on a Tascam Porta-One Multitrack Recorder.

 Using a Casio CZ-101 keyboard , a Roland TR-505 Drum machine, and my first bass, A Fender MusicMaster short-scale 4 string.  I spent a lot of time making music, being creative and letting my friends hear the songs I would make.

    I was also a very avid music listener and DJ, so I always had my ear to the ground to know what people liked and that gave me an inside track to what my music should sound like and how it should make people feel.

Since that time I have played in local bands, SounDoctrine being the one of the most noteriety. We toured all over Ohio and competed in the Capital Jazz Fest in Maryland. 

So, at this point I am creating and collaborating with various musicians I have met along the way to carve out my own sound and share it with you and the world!!
